Each year the Hillfort Study Group organises a field trip. These have been to some very diverse regions, including continental Europe and more recently New Zealand.   

The list is currently incomplete, but we are in the process of scanning the archive. There are still a handful of early guides we are trying to track down: these are  1968, 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1984. If anyone has a copy please can you let the web editor know! hfsg1965.webmaster@gmail.com

1993 Brittany; 1996 NE France; 2000 Burgundy; 2001 no trip (Foot and Mouth); 2004 Central Spain; 2008 Bohemia; 2010 Bavaria; 2019 Asturias; 2020 New Zealand (and no British trip - Covid), and in 2021 we visited Peeblesshire as a post-Covid breath of fresh air.

Field guides are accessible to HFSG Members. The secretary provides access information to members on request.
